I don't just play Flames Of War, I'm also into airsoft. For those that do not now what that is, google "airsoft" and perhaps "wiki" and you shall receive!
I play mainly as Russian, so I therefore own a lot of AK style weapons. The list is as follows;
- AKS74M (Kalash, AEG)
- RPK47/RPK74 (Cyma, AEG, I have parts for both versions)
- SVD Dragunov (Cyman, AEG)
- PKM (A&K, AEG)
- Scorpion (Maruzen, GBB)
- Shotgun (Noname, cheap, Springer)
- Glock 18c (ASG, AEG)
- Tokarev TT-33 (KWA, GBB)
AEG: Air Eletric Gun, GBB; Gas Blowback
The newest guns are the last two.
Glock 18C
The ASG Glock 18c is a re branded gun made in china. Its electric and has no blowback. I bought it because I needed a pistol that always works, being electric it will always shoot when the trigger is pulled, compare to gas powered guns that, in my experience, not always works. The replica itself is not nice, there are several markings on the body that the original those not have. But the overall feel of the gun is good, I was surprised that the quality felt so good, its nice and weighty! It doesn't shoot very far and it lacks the power of an rifle AEG, but since I'm only gonna use it on short range that doesn't bother me, in fact its perfect!
Score
Price: I payed about 110$, witch I feel is expensive
Feel: It feels good in my hands, the materials have a quality feel to them
Performance: Bad, but it has a hop-up.
Pro: Cheaper then an GBB
Cons: Not a very good replica, but from a distance it looks alright
Total: 4 BB's out of 10
Tokarev TT-33
Now this is an other animal completely! This is nice, really nice. But then again I like old guns, this is the Tokarev TT-33 and its an old soviet pistol from WW2. This replica feels great in the hand. Its kinda light, compared to the ASG Glock 18c and the grip is kinda short, but that's not the replicas fault, I guess they had small hands in the CCCP? It has an old school feeling to it, like an old 1911. I'v only shot the gun at home so I can say noting about the range, but it packs a punch! The blowback is strong, like really strong! Witch is good, great in fact!
Score
